Exterior - Peeling paintwork and unsightly dustbins are definite deterrents. Make sure your home is appealing and tidy for curb side inspections.
Tidy rooms – Can be difficult to achieve but the results are worthwhile. Ensure the impression is of light and space. Cluttered rooms stay in the memory and alter a buyer’s perception of the good points of your home.
No rush – Some people take 2 minutes to make their minds up, others need more time. Let the property do the talking, the buyer and Montels do the negotiating.
Animals – Some people are frightened of pets in general. Keep them out of the way until they can be properly introduced. Be aware that animal smells may hang around longer than buyers.
